Vela tracks your cycle, predicts your period, and logs your symptoms — all on your phone. No account. No cloud. No one can see your data.
Data never leaves your phone. Verified by architecture, not policy.
Flo settled with the FTC in 2021 for sharing period and pregnancy data with Facebook and Google without user consent. A $56M class action followed in 2025. We built an app where data sharing is architecturally impossible — not just against our policy.

Three core features. No subscriptions. No upsells. Just a well-made tool that does one thing well.
Colour-coded period days, fertile window, and predicted next period. Updates automatically as you log. Navigate back through months to review your history.
Log flow, symptoms, pain level, mood, and notes. Opens in one tap. Auto-saves when you close — no "save" button required.
Average cycle length, period length, regularity score, and symptom frequency. All calculated from your local data — no AI, no server.
Finally. A period app that doesn't sell my data to Facebook.
Dead simple to use. The privacy screen alone made me trust it immediately.
Flo deleted, Vela downloaded. Didn't look back.
Less than one month of Flo Premium.
Price may vary by region. One-time purchase — no subscription, ever. Standard platform refund policies apply.
Yes. Vela has no server, no account system, and makes no network calls for your data. We cannot access your data because it never leaves your phone. This is verified by the app's architecture, not just our privacy policy.
In v1.0, your data is tied to your device. If you have iCloud backup enabled and Vela is included, it will restore. If not, the data is lost. Encrypted optional backup is on our roadmap for v1.1.
Completely. Vela works with no internet connection, ever.
Delete the app. Your data is deleted with it. There is no cloud copy, nothing to contact us about.
No. We believe you should pay once or not at all. Apple's and Google's standard refund policies apply if the app doesn't work for you.
